A St.Kildarian in exileMy health situation hasn't been the best over the last few years and after my landlady sold the block of flats where I had lived since New Year 1995 in July 2007, I could no longer afford the rent in inner-urbia so I'm exiled to regional NSW at the kind invitation of my best friend and adopted brother, but St.Kilda is where I used to live, play and work; it is still my spiritual home, my own sweet St.Kilda . . .
Let's hope my home is not developed beyond all recognition before I see her again, and to that end I encourage you to visit www.unChainStKilda.org and help them fight the good fight. In December 2008, my housemate (and adopted little brother) Darren opened a little vintage furniture store within the faded elegance of The Goulburn Club (incidentally Goulburn's best kept secret); and as he liked it better than anything he could come up with decided to revive the name I gave my short-lived boutique to sell Bone Couture; Anne Bonny's Locker, for his own business. I'm helping Darren out at the shop where you will naturally find the remnants of my Bone Couture range for sale along with a collection of vintage treadle sewing machines which I've serviced and where necessary restored (though Darren works on the cabinets); these machines really deserve to be used as they still have the ability to sew beautifully. I've finally given in and joined Facebook, but don't expect me to add you as a "friend" if I don't know you-so if we haven't been in touch for a while please add a little note to remind how I know you. I have also created a Facebook "fan" page for Anne Bonny's Locker, and welcome anyone and everyone to become a fan of the shop whether I know them or not. |

And of course don't forget my little Etsy shop where I'm still waiting for my first real sale, but it's a sideline and as I rather like the girls at DUST (Down Under Street Team) I treat it as a bit of a laugh, and hey, you never know. |

Most of the info and images on this page belong to me, except of course what I have stolen and even then I have tried to credit the creator, if you discover something that I have pilfered from you that I haven't given credit for, send me an e-mail and I will try to see you right.
Most of the photographs of my Bone Couture designs were taken
by David A.P. Williamson, performance photography, mostly by Andrew Prentice
and Kelly Collins.
Uncredited photos are mine.
As a courtesy, always give credit where credit is due.
The Kitten thanks you.
